Farmer killed by bull named locally

The farmer who was killed by a bull in Co Longford last night has been named locally as 61-year-old Patrick Trapp, from Drumnacor in Ballymahon.

The farmer who was killed by a bull in Co Longford last night has been named locally as 61-year-old Patrick Trapp, from Drumnacor in Ballymahon.

Mr Trapp was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened in Ballygarve, near Killoe, at around 10pm.
