Bradley makes five changes to Connacht XV

Connacht coach Michael Bradley has made five changes to the side that lost to Cardiff for Friday¹s Celtic League clash with Edinburgh at the Sportsground.

Connacht coach Michael Bradley has made five changes to the side that lost to Cardiff for Friday¹s Celtic League clash with Edinburgh at the Sportsground.

In the backline Tom Tierney replaces the injured Chris Keane while David Slemen comes into the side at full-back with Paul Warwick moving to the bench. The final change sees Darren Yapp replace Conor McPhillips on the wing having recovered from a hamstring strain.

In the forwards, David Gannon replaces the injured Christian Short and Matt Lacey comes into the side for Michael Swift with John Muldoon reverting to blindside flanker.

Irish under-21 lock David McGowan is among the replacements, meaning the Sligo native is in line to make his debut for the province.

Connacht XV vs. Edinburgh: David Slemen; Matt Mostyn, John Hearty, Gavin Williams, Darren Yapp; Mark McHugh, Tom Tierney; Dan McFarland, John Fogarty, Stephen Knoop, David Gannon, Andrew Farley (Captain), John Muldoon, Matt Lacey, Colm Rigney.

Replacements: Joe Merrigan, Adrian Clarke, David McGowan, Michael Swift, Conor O¹Loughlin, Paul Warwick, Conor McPhillips.
