Rogen shuns life as an action man

Funnyman Seth Rogen hates the idea of becoming a Hollywood superstar - insisting fans seeing him as a sex symbol makes him "feel sick".

Funnyman Seth Rogen hates the idea of becoming a Hollywood superstar - insisting fans seeing him as a sex symbol makes him "feel sick".

The writer/actor has moved away from his comedy roots with a turn in upcoming superhero movie 'The Green Hornet' - but has turned down a string of other lucrative offers which all promised to promote him to the A-list.

Rogen insists he will never abandon funny films to become an all-star action hero and puts his decision down to his disgust at the excesses of the showbiz lifestyle.

He told FHM: "Just the other day I was offered a big part in the new action film by the director of 'The Day After Tomorrow'. But I don't want to become the kind of superstar who parties all the time, does coke and throws up in the back of a limo. And the idea of me being seen as a sex symbol makes me feel sick. For me, my main goal is simple, to write the kind of comedy that me and my friends would instantly throw money down to see."
