Champions Athenry have made it through to the final with a comprehensive 3-20 to 1-10 win over Dunloy at Parnell Park in Dublin.
The northerners matched the hotly-tipped Galway side in the opening minutes of the game, but when corner forward David Donoghue got his team's opening goal, Athenry began to pull away.
They led by 1-11 to 0-6 at half time, thanks largely to the free-taking ability of Eugene Cloonan, and when Cathal Moran goaled three minutes after the restart, the game effectively ended as a contest.
Cloonan added Athenry's third goal later on and further points from Brian Hanley, Joe Rabbitte and the excellent Donoghue made sure of the victory.
An impressive win for Athenry, who have justified their tag as favourites to retain the title.
