TV presenter Gaby Roslin has undergone a radical image change for her new role in hit West End musical Chicago.
The former Big Breakfast host has ditched her usual wholesome appearance to play butch prison matron Mama Morton.
This first publicity shot for the musical reveals that Roslin has been shaping up in preparation for her role.
The double-breasted pinstriped suit shows off a newly honed figure which she has worked hard to achieve since the birth of her daughter Libbi-Jack 15 months ago.
Her transformation is reminiscent of Denise Van Outen, who also shed the pounds to play Roxie Hart in Chicago.
Roslin, 38, said: “I have been getting in shape over the past few months and it’s been hard work.
“Rehearsals start on Monday and I’m absolutely raring to go. I always wanted to be in a West End musical but I can’t dance. This role is perfect because it’s all singing and no dancing.
“People know me as a television presenter but I’m going back to my roots because I trained as an actress and singer.”
Roslin will take on the role previously occupied by singer Alison Moyet, who had a stint in the award-winning production at the Adelphi Theatre earlier this year.
She makes her stage debut on November 18 on the same day as former EastEnder Michael Greco.
Greco, who played Beppe in the BBC1 soap, will star as lawyer Billy Flynn, replacing ex-Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow.
