Cork's Ger Spillane feels that with the advent of the qualifiers and the dominance of Ulster teams over the last few years, it has become harder to take All-Ireland SFC honours.
Despite talk of a Kerry hoping first back to back of All-Ireland SFC titles since Cork achieved this accolade in 1990, Spillane is keen to focus on his own sides strengths ahead of Sunday's crunch tie.
He knows that his side will have a hard job to counteract the Kerry forwards on Sunday. Spillane feels that his side will have to be at the top of their game if they are to beat the Kingdom.
Despite being out of the Cork side for four weeks, corner-forward James Masters says that his preparations are going well ahead of Sunday's game.
Masters feels that it will be hard to regain full-fitness ahead of Sunday's game but that ultimately the final decision on whether he will start the game, lies solely with the management.
