Limerick 1-12 Offaly 2-16

Limerick fell to their third successive league defeat as they were outplayed by Offaly in Div 1B of the NHL at Kilmallock.

Offaly, without their Birr contingent, roared into a six-point lead and it took a 30th minute TJ Ryan goal to keep Limerick in the hunt at the break as they trailed 0-11 to 1-3.

Second half goals from dangerman Brian Carroll and Damien Murray ensured the Faithful county's win and sealed the fate of Limerick who have yet to register a senior win under new manager Dave Keane.
