Sheffield United have swooped for Fulham defender Terry Phelan on a three-month loan deal.

Sheffield United have swooped for Fulham defender Terry Phelan on a three-month loan deal.

Blades manager Neil Warnock has seen his defensive ranks crippled by injury, and has employed the former Wimbledon and Mancheser City full-back as cover.

Phelan has been on the transfer list at Craven Cottage since Fulham's promotion to the Premiership.

His arrival at Bramall Lane comes just a day after Watford's Robert Page was also snapped up on a loan deal.
