Motorists could find themselves behind a tractor cavalcade touring the country over the next six days to raise funds for suicide prevention.

Motorists could find themselves behind a tractor cavalcade touring the country over the next six days to raise funds for suicide prevention.

The two-vehicle Callan Macra na Feirme 26 County Tractor Run aims to raise cash for the charity Lifeline and will traverse the state between today and Sunday.

Comerfords Garage, Ballycallan, in Co Kilkenny have supplied the tractors for the big event which begins in Callan.

Lifeline is a network of agencies and volunteers who have a common interest in suicide prevention.
