Guinness has today announced details of eight more music events taking place in pubs in Cork, Dublin and Belfast on Arthur’s Day.

Guinness has today announced details of eight more music events taking place in pubs in Cork, Dublin and Belfast on Arthur’s Day.

The Arthur’s Day TV Specials will be recorded for later broadcast on national TV in Ireland and in more 100 countries worldwide.

Mumford & Sons, Primal Scream, Example, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Texas, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Amy McDonald, Fatboy Slim, Professor Green and Mika have been confirmed as headline artists .

These events will also feature hom grown and international talent such as Rudimental, Jessie Ware, Willy Moon, P Money, AlunaGeorge, This Club, The Riptide Movement, The Original Rudeboys, The Minutes, Lilygreen And Maguire, Josh Osho, Jake Bugg, Smiler, Dream Mclean, The Milk and Dublin Gospel Choir.

Speaking about his Arthur’s Day visit, Professor Green said; "Myself and a few mates are heading to Ireland on September 27 to host a unique night at a surprise location to celebrate Arthur's Day. Expect a special night of music and more! Here's to Arthur!"

Music fans have the chance to win passes for the events by applying via www.facebook.com/GUINNESSIreland and selected media outlets from this Wednesday.

This year, there are more than 500 free Arthur’s Day music events taking place in local pubs across all 32 counties, featuring Irish artists such as Royseven, Mundy, Picturehouse, Delorentos, Dove, Jerry Fish, The Hot Sprockets, The Shoos, The Heads of State and many more.

This year, for every ‘check-in’ by people to the Arthur’s Day Facebook event, a €5 donation will be made to the Arthur Guinness Fund.
