The daughter of imprisoned mafia boss John Gotti is making her debut as a columnist tomorrow in the New York Post, where she will write a weekly piece.

Victoria Gotti, 36, will write stories about the city and its residents, but her new employer is famous for one of the most unforgettable newspaper headlines involving her father in 1986.

John Gotti was acquitted of an assault charge when the alleged victim suffered a sudden case of amnesia after discovering Gotti headed the Gambino crime family.

‘‘I forgotti’’, the Post headline announced.
