Adam Larkin and Jonny Bell have been the main Ulster beneficiaries from Ireland’s refusal to release the likes of Kevin Maggs and David Humphreys from their 22-man squad for the forthcoming Autumn Test series.
Larkin and Bell will provide experience for what is sure to be a crowd-pleasing tussle with Munster in the Celtic League at Ravenhill on Saturday.
Hooker Paul Shields, second row Rowan Frost and number eight Campbell Feather, in for the injured Roger Wilson, will be eager to impress coach Mark McCall.
