Marcus Gayle has completed his £1m move to Rangers.

The Wimbledon striker has completed his medical and will be paraded at a press conference today.

Gayle will join forces with former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo after agreeing terms with the Light Blues.

However the Jamaican international will not be eligible for the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Dundee United on Sunday but is expected to make his debut against Dundee at Ibrox next week.

The capture of Gayle will bring a much-needed boost for the injury-ravaged squad which is currently missing 11 first-team squad members.
