Arsenal midfielder Edu is still ruled out of action for tomorrow’s trip to Crystal Palace as Arsene Wenger considers whether to freshen up his side.

Edu is not set to return from a calf injury until next week, while Gilberto Silva is sidelined with a back problem, Sol Campbell is out with an Achilles injury and Jermaine Pennant (hamstring) and Gael Clichy (ankle) are also missing.

Wenger must decide whether to rest Dennis Bergkamp, with Robin van Persie hoping to make his first Barclays Premiership start of the season.

The Arsenal boss revealed: “We have no fresh injuries and nobody coming back. Edu had a normal session today but is still too short. He should be okay for next week though.”

Team (from): Lehmann, Almunia, Taylor, Lauren, Hoyte, Cole, Cygan, Toure, Senderos, Vieira, Fabregas, Flamini, Pires, Reyes, Ljungberg, van Persie, Henry, Bergkamp.
