Ticketmaster releases warning for Taylor Swift fans

Ticketmaster has warned Taylor Swift fans to be careful of fake tickets and access codes online.

Tickets for the second date at Croke Park go on presale today with the remainder up for grabs on Friday.

Fans who wish to share their excitement by posting pictures of their tickets online are told to be careful to cover order numbers, codes and confirmation numbers on any pictures of tickets.

Ticketmaster also warns that unofficial sellers may engage in ’speculative listing’ by listing tickets online before they go on sale.

"Fans should not trust resellers claiming to have tickets before the onsale has even begun," it said.

The tickets in these listings are not real.

In addition, some people online are attempting to sell access codes for the presale.

Ticketmasters says only it can generate the codes, which are linked to your account on the site and cannot be shared.

However, it did point out that fans reselling tickets is not illegal.
