Lita to see out season at The Valley

Charlton have extended Reading striker Leroy Lita's loan spell at The Valley until the end of the season.

Charlton have extended Reading striker Leroy Lita's loan spell at The Valley until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Addicks on an initial one-month deal at the start of March, has yet to find the net in four appearances for Alan Pardew's side.

Pardew has opted to keep hold of the former England U-21 international, who will now be available for the Coca-Cola Championship play-offs should Charlton be involved.

Lita scored 14 goals for Reading in their first season in the Premier League last term, but has since fallen behind Dave Kitson, Kevin Doyle and Shane Long in the pecking order at the Madejski Stadium.
