Bohs sign midfielder O'Brien from Rovers

Bohemians boss Gareth Farrelly has signed Mark O’Brien from Shamrock Rovers for a fee reported to be €10,000.

Bohemians boss Gareth Farrelly has signed Mark O’Brien from Shamrock Rovers for a fee reported to be €10,000.

The 19-year-old midfielder was out of contract at Rovers, but, because he is under 23, a fee was still involved, which has held up his move for the last three months.

Drogheda United, Longford Town and Bohemians were all interested in signing the former Belvedere star with Bohemians winning the race for his services.
