Man remains in custody over Brian McGlynn murder

A 46-year-old man remains in police custody in the North this morning in connection with the murder of Brian McGlynn in Derry last year.

A 46-year-old man remains in police custody in the North this morning in connection with the murder of Brian McGlynn in Derry last year.

The man, who is also being held on suspicion of INLA membership, is one of three people arrested this week in connection with the murder of the 28-year-old nightclub doorman.

A 30-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were also detained, but have since been released.

Mr McGlynn was shot dead while sleeping in his home in the Fountain Hill area in June 2007.
