Louth boss Val Andrews has named experienced centre-back Aaron Hoey in his starting 15 for next Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Offaly in Navan.
Hoey has recovered from a hamstring injury to take his place in the heart of defence, while Nicky McDonnell, who was struggling with a leg injury, will lead the attack.
Colin Goss and Shane Lennon have failed to recover from hand and ankle injuries respectively.
The Wee County are underdogs going into Sunday's game, having endured a miserable league campaign, with only two victories over lowly Waterford and Tipperary.
