Paul McCartney will reportedly bid farewell to fans with a 100-date world tour before going into semi-retirement.
The former Beatle will stage the shows over two years before stepping out of the limelight to spend more time with his family.
McCartney, 65, recently performed a homecoming gig in Liverpool, England, the current European Capital of Culture.
A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror: "Paul explained that this tour will be the last big one. He wants to settle down and enjoy Beatrice's childhood.
"The tour will be the last time he performs in many parts of the world. Beatrice and his family life are going to come first.
"He does not want to be away for months at a time."
McCartney has four grown up children from his marriage to Linda McCartney; biological children Mary, 38, Stella, 36, James, 30 and adopted daughter Heather, 45, who is Linda's daughter by her first husband, and Beatrice, four, from his marriage to Heather Mills.
