A suspect device has exploded in Castlewellan, Co Down.

A suspect device has exploded in Castlewellan, Co Down.

There have been reports of shots also being fired in the area, although the RUC say they have found no evidence of this as yet.

A pedestrian is being treated for shock and damage was caused to a wall.

The RUC say the attack was completely reckless and ruthless.
