England today completed an emphatic 161-run victory in the second one-day international at the Harare Sports Club after Zimbabwe wilted.

England's South African-born Kevin Pietersen hit a brilliant 77 off only 76 balls, including four fours and three sixes, to help the tourists overcome a shaky start and propel them to a commanding 263 for six.

Pietersen’s stunning display, in only his second one-day international since qualifying as an English player, provided the tourists with an unstoppable momentum and despite captain Tatenda Taibu hitting a determined 32 from 48 balls, Zimbabwe slumped to 102 all out in reply.
