Fine Gael has accused motor insurance companies of deceiving their customers with the reasons for the high premiums they charge young drivers.

Fine Gael has accused motor insurance companies of deceiving their customers with the reasons for the high premiums they charge young drivers.

The party’s Enterprise spokesman, Charlie Flanagan, says that there is compelling evidence to suggest practice of widespread deception and misrepresentation.

Mr Flanagan wants the Tanaiste, Mary Harney, to take on the insurance industry and in particular the motor insurance cartel.
