A couple found dead after a fire swept through their home in the North may have been doused in liquid.

It is believed Anne McLaughlin and her husband David died in a violent domestic incident in the fishing village of Kilkeel.

The RUC are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

They believe David McLaughlin came to the house, doused himself and his wife in petrol, and then set fire to them both.
