Man arrested in Dublin gangland crime clampdown

A man in his 20s has been arrested today in connection with a major investigation into gangland crime in Dublin.

A man in his 20s has been arrested today in connection with a major investigation into gangland crime in Dublin.

Gardaí are searching more than 50 homes and businesses around the city and so far have seized €70,000 in cash, as well as a gun, cannabis and cocaine, stolen electronic equipment and computers.

The computers are being examined in connection with suspected money laundering offences.

The man is being held in connection with the drugs offences at Crumlin garda station.
