A man has been killed in a road accident in Drogheda, Co Louth.

A man has been killed in a road accident in Drogheda, Co Louth.

The single vehicle crash took place at around 12.40pm this afternoon at the Bridge of Peace in the town.

The male occupant of the car died at the scene.
