Final preparations are being made ahead of the St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Dublin tomorrow and football legend John Giles says he is honoured to be acting as Grand Marshal.

"I used to go to it all the time when I was a kid" Giles said.

"I lived down in Ormond Square which is only a walk just off Ormond Quay there".

"So it was a walk down to O'Connell Bridge where we used to watch it from, myself and my pals".

"So we used to go every year with great anticipation" he added.
