Limerick defender Mark Foley is facing a race against time to be fit for the Shannonsiders' All-Ireland Qualifier Round 1 clash after it emerged he broke his hand during the Munster SHC replay against Tipperary on Saturday.
The corner-back broke his hand with 25 minutes gone in the game, but played on for the rest of the clash, which Limerick lost by a point after extra time.
The Adare club man has three weeks to recover before the Shannonsiders are in action again in the first round of the qualifying series.
