Records were broken in the men's and women's races at the 2010 Dublin City Marathon today.
Moses Kibet of Kenya claimed the men's race in a new record time of 2 hours 8 minutes and 56 seconds.
Kibet's winning time was 11 seconds faster than the old record. He said he was not sure he could do it, given the cold in Dublin today, but said that "on my way, I realised it was possible".
Joe McAllister of St Malachy's was the first Irish man home.
Tatiana Aryasova from Russia won the women's race also in a record time, 2 hours 26 minutes and 12 seconds, with Barbara Sanchez from Raheny Shamrock's winning the Irish title.
The wheelchair division was won by Paul Hanna from Armagh in 2 hours 20 minutes and 38 seconds.
