Ireland's women's side suffer narrow friendly defeat
The Republic of Ireland women's side suffered a narrow friendly defeat tonight.
The match was scoreless at half-time.
However, when play resumed Colin Bell's side went down 1-nil to Portugal in the Azores.
Dolores Silva put the hosts ahead from the spot after Tyler Toland brought Andreia Norton down in the area.
The sides meet again on Sunday.
