Waterlogging is threatening next week’s five-day Tralee festival with an inspection called for 4pm on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s opening card.

Waterlogging is threatening next week’s five-day Tralee festival with an inspection called for 4pm on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s opening card.

“The course is currently unraceable due to waterlogging,” confirmed Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone.

“It’s been raining again today and the forecast is for sunshine and showers over the next couple of days but the weather is expected to improve from midweek.”
