Newcastle are set to sign Czech international defender David Rozehnal from Paris St Germain, according to a report in his homeland.

Newcastle are set to sign Czech international defender David Rozehnal from Paris St Germain, according to a report in his homeland.

Twenty-six-year-old Rozehnal, who played for Czech side Olomouc before moving to Bruges and PSG, has played 34 times for his country.

“The definite agreement was reached – David goes to Newcastle,” the player’s agent Pavel Zika told www.idnes.cz.
