Carbery Group revenues grow by 14.5%
Carbery Group has announced positive results for 2011 today with revenues increasing by 14.5% to €256.5m and profit before tax rising by 27.8% to €8.7m.
Carbery said its 2011 performance reflected a strong performance from the Ingredients division, which includes its flavour business Synergy, whilst its Irish-based Cheese division had a "challenging year".
Despite this, Carbery’s flagship cheese brand, Dubliner, continues to grow in export markets, particularly in the US market.
Carbery’s flavour division Synergy bought Sensus in Ohio and Sethness Greenleaf in Chicago in the US in the last quarter of 2011.
