Meath man arrested as part of dissident republican probe

A man in his thirties has been arrested in Co Meath in connection with dissident republican activity.

A man in his thirties has been arrested in Co Meath in connection with dissident republican activity.

He was detained last night when a business premises in the Navan area was searched yesterday evening.

He is being questioned at Kells Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Three pistols and assorted ammunition were also recovered along with other paraphernalia.
