Fianna Fáil has lashing out at Enda Kenny's election “contract”, stating that the Fine Gael leader has forgotten the country’s pensioners.
Minister for Social Affairs Seamus Brennan was highlighting his party’s proposal to increase the pension to at least €300 if re-elected to power.
Brennan said the Fine Gael contract is null and void, and that he believes Enda Kenny has got his priorities all wrong.
“Our Celtic Tiger belongs to our older people,” he said.
“This is a scandal, an outrageous insult to 400,000 pensioners in Ireland that they don't deserve one line in a contract signed by Enda Kenny.”
