Tony Bennett has made music history after he topped the album charts in America for the first time in his 60-year career and became the oldest living act ever to do so.

Tony Bennett has made music history after he topped the album charts in America for the first time in his 60-year career and became the oldest living act ever to do so.

The 85-year-old crooner reached the top of the Billboard with "Duets 2" featuring collaborations with 17 stars including Lady Gaga, Michael Buble and the late Amy Winehouse.

The album sold 179,000 copies in its first week.
