Jamiroquai singer claims he was assaulted
Jamiroquai's Jay Kay claims he was assaulted after attending the Star Wars premiere in London.
The Jamiroquai singer is believed to have suffered facial injuries after an altercation with another man, believed to be a photographer, in St Martin's Lane on Tuesday night.
He had just been to the premiere of the new Star Wars film Attack of the Clones in Leicester Square.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "We can confirm that two males have each made contradictory allegations to common assault against each other."
The police are looking into the allegations, though they haven't taken formal statements.
He is due to perform at the Broadway Boulevard in Ealing, west London.
