Spain rocked by sonic boom

Two loud booms rattled windows and frightened residents in the southern Spanish city of Malaga today.

Two loud booms rattled windows and frightened residents in the southern Spanish city of Malaga today.

The city council said it appeared the noises were the sonic boom caused when a plane or planes break the sound barrier.

Police said there was no damage reported or calls about any incident anywhere in the city.
