Kearns shuffles pack for Carlow clash
Limerick football manager Liam Kearns has been forced to make one change to his side ahead of Saturday's Bank of Ireland SFC qualifier against Carlow (Dr Cullen Park, throw-in 5.30pm).
Drom Broadford midfielder Jason Stokes aggravated a long-standing leg injury in the Munster semi-final loss to Kerry and was ruled out of contention for the Carlow trip on Monday night.
Kearns has reacted to the blow by lining Michael Reidy up at full forward, and switching John Glavin back into midfield.
Other positional switches see Conor Mullane moving from wing back to full-back, with John McCarthy reverting to number four. Stephen Lavin moves to wing back in the other defensive change.
Up front, Michael Crowley starts at corner forward and his place at wing forward going to Stephen Kelly.
Dual players Stephen Lucey - who struck a point in the defeat to Kerry - and Conor Fitzgerald are again pencilled in to start.
