Courtney Love has been praised by a Superior Court judge in America for winning her battle to overcome drug addiction.
The 41-year-old was not present at court in Los Angeles on Friday, but the judge told her lawyer Michael Rosenstein she was "progressing well" in a status report.
He says: "As far as I know, she's doing well in her programme, continuing forward in her treatment and has tested negative for drugs."
Love was sentenced to undergo a one-year drug treatment program after pleading guilty in February to a misdemeanour count of being under the influence of a controlled substance in 2003 when she allegedly tried to break in to a former boyfriend's home.
She was also sentenced to 18 months probation and 100 hours community service - but the charge will be stricken from her record if she successfully completes the programme.
The hearing came just two days after Love was taken to hospital reporting she felt faint at a Hollywood party.
