Keanu Reeves has confirmed a third 'Bill & Ted' movie is in the works.
The Canadian actor reveals he would be happy to reprise the role of Ted 'Theodore' Logan - a character he first played in 1989 - and admits the original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are working on a script.
He told MTV.com: "They're gonna try and see if they can write something. I would love to play the role and I'd love to work with Alex (Bill) and Chris and Ed again."
No possible director or time scale has been announced on the project.
Keanu is currently working on a number of projects, including 'Generation Um...', which tells the tale of a group of friends on a journey of self discovery, and sci-fi movie 'Passengers'.
The first movie in the 'Bill and Ted' series - 'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure' - grossed $40.4m, while its 1991 follow-up 'Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey' took $38m.
