Elderly man killed in Sligo accident

An 88 year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Co Sligo.

An 88 year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Co Sligo.

It happened when the car he was driving left the road and hit a tree at Stonepark in Aclare at about 5pm yesterday.

The man's body was removed to Sligo General Hospital.

Gardaí at Ballymote are investigating.
