Explosion in Afghan munitions bank kills five

At least five people are reported to have died, and over 30 have been injured following an explosion in Afghanistan.

At least five people are reported to have died, and over 30 have been injured following an explosion in Afghanistan.

The explosion was reportedly triggered when a rocket hit the warehouse sending ammunition and debris flying through the town of Spinboldak.

The warehouse is thought to be a former Taliban munitions store.

It is not clear who started the explosion at this point.
