The two-day think-in comes ahead of the start of the new Dáil session later this month.

The party's relationship with the Green Party is also likely to dominate proceedings.

Former minister Willie's O'Dea, speaking on The Late Late Show on Friday night, described the Greens' behaviour as "corrosive" and also said three out-standing by-elections should be called now and held after Christmas.
