Body recovered from Co Tyrone river

A post mortem was being carried out today on a man whose body was pulled out of a river in a Co Tyrone town in Northern Ireland.

A post mortem was being carried out today on a man whose body was pulled out of a river in a Co Tyrone town in Northern Ireland.

The body was spotted in the Torrens River in Coalisland yesterday by a woman walking her dog near a bridge on the Dungannon Road.

The man has been identified but no details have been released. Police were still investigating the exact circumstances of his death.
