UCD 5 Drogheda 4

UCD scored three times inside the last 10 minutes to win an amazing nine-goal thriller at the UCD Bowl.

College ran up a 2-0 lead by the 25th minute with goals from midfielder Paul Corry and Samir Belhout.

Philip Hand blew a chance to get Drogheda back into in on 36 minutes when shooting his penalty off a post.

But Gavin Brennan did get a goal back for Drogheda in the final minute of the first half.

Mick Cooke's side then stormed back into the game in the second half, levelling the scores on 58 minutes through Jordan White before Hand redeemed his spot kick miss with a stunning strike from distance to put them 3-2 up three minutes later.

Midfielder Lee Lynch extended that lead within a further three minutes as UCD didn't know what had hit them.

But Martin Russell's side regrouped and hit back with long range finish from Darren Meenan on 80 minutes.

Robbie Creevy then levelled the match four minutes later when heading home Paul O'Conor's cross.

Remarkably, Graham Rusk then won it for UCD on 89 minutes when converting Dean Marsahll's delivery.
