Millionaire Connery once earned £1 a week
Millionaire movie star Sean Connery earned just £1 (€1.47) when he started out as a 14-year-old milkman newly released documents reveal.
The Scottish James Bond star, whose real name is Thomas S Connery had a starting salary of 21 shillings as a 'barrow worker' in 1944.
Five years later he reached the level of 'junior horseman', but the glittering lights of Hollywood beckoned so he decided to leave and pursue his dream of acting.
