George Clooney made a young girl's day during his visit to Edinburgh, Scotland for the final Live 8 gig last Wednesday, when he surprised the youngster with a phone call.
The Ocean's Twelve star was approached by café worker Alison Greig at Edinburgh Airport, who asked him if he would speak to her nine-year-old daughter Emma-Louise - a huge Clooney fan.
Clooney willingly obliged, rendering his young admirer speechless with excitement.
Emma-Louise says: "He came on and said: 'Is this Emma-Louise? Hi, it's George Clooney here.'
"He was really nice. I was so nervous I couldn't think of anything to say. He is my favourite actor and he is so good-looking. My friends are all jealous - and so are their mums."
Mother Alison adds: "I was star-struck but just walked up and asked him if he minded speaking to Emma-Louise.
"He said: 'No problem.' He was really down to earth and only had one minder."
