The DUP's Peter Robinson has accused David Trimble of jeopardising the union between the North and Britain by supporting the Good Friday Agreement.
Mr Robinson described the agreement as a one-sided deal that "has proved a costly experiment for Unionism".
He said the current direction the peace process is taking can only lead to the destruction of Unionism.
