Irish Water has said it will not be rebranding

Irish Water has been forced to deny a rebrand following speculation that they were making changes.

A spokesperson has said there is no rebrand underway at Irish Water.

An earlier report stated the rebrand would be apart of a raft of changes after the General Election that will include the departure of CEO John Tierney.

Following on from that a statement confirmed John Tierney’s retirement.

“John Tierney has confirmed his intention to retire in April at the end of his three year contract with Irish Water.

“He said he very much appreciated the opportunity to work on the establishment of Irish Water, one of the most challenging projects ever undertaken in the public sector.”
